VP Merchant banking (Investment funds)

Investment funds desk is focused on developing relationships with Russian private equity funds, family offices and management companies. Participates in the equity and mezzanine deals.

• Development and analysis of potential equity and mezzanine opportunities
• Conducting meetings and participating in origination of investment deals
• Support for deals analysis and execution
• Participation in structuring of investment deals
• Participation in the preparation of deals documentation
• Preparation of materials for Credit and Investment committee
• Cross-functional interaction with the bank's services (legal, risk, etc.) and external consultants

• Bachelor or master degree from a top-tier university
• 5+ years of work experience in PE funds / investment banks / M&A and Valuation departments at BIG4
• Fluent oral and written English is a must (including financial and business English)
• Confident knowledge and skills in financial mathematics, corporate finance and financial analysis
• Passed CFA levels is a plus
• Multitasking and self-starting
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
• Willingness to learn and develop across wide range of products and tasks
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, solid quantitative and reasoning skills
• Ability to maintain high standard of work while working on multiple projects and long hours
